SUE BARKER
Born in England, Sue Barker was coached by tennis legend Arthur Roberts. She won the French Open in 1976 and was a semifinalist at Wimbledon in 1977, reaching a career‑high ranking of third in the world. After retiring from tennis, Sue moved into broadcasting and worked with the BBC, covering the Olympic Games and Wimbledon during her 30‑year career.
