Silversea 2021-2022 cruises – Silversea’s new voyage collection offers unparalleled variety, with many once-in-a-lifetime experiences to offer guests, from solar eclipse voyages in Antarctica to an immersive cruise to the Holy Land. The leading ultra-luxury cruise line has unveiled a total of 197 new itineraries, setting sail between January 2021 and April 2022, which incorporate calls to 528 destinations in 92 countries, with 28 maiden calls.
Following high demand, travellers will journey to Nazareth and Jerusalem in Israel on a voyage to the Holy Land from 16 August 2021, in addition to Cyprus, Turkey, and Greece. In the Black Sea, guests will travel deeper into Turkey, with an overnight in Istanbul, the Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece, aboard the Silver Shadow from 20 September 2021. New 12-night voyages between Venice and Athens will also offer the chance to explore vibrant Istanbul on overnight calls.
Responding to exceptionally strong guest feedback, the new collection will incorporate more Iceland and Norwegian Fjords voyages than ever before. Guests will journey to a total of 122 destinations in Northern Europe, on four ships. Four circumnavigations of Iceland will showcase the diverse, spectacular scenery of the Land of Fire and Ice, with differing experiences available on the Silver Wind and the Silver Whisper. On six voyages, the Silver Spirit will take guests deeper into the authentic beauty of the Baltic Sea, visiting Tallinn, Helsinki and spending at least one overnight in St Petersburg.
On an overnight call in Monaco, automotive fanatics will soak up the Principality’s electrifying atmosphere during this world-famous sporting event.
Departing 22 September 2021, the Silver Dawn will embark on her maiden voyage, journeying from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Venice over nine nights. The Silver Dawn will be a sister ship to both the Silver Muse and the Silver Moon, taking inspiration from the most popular features of each while also incorporating many innovative enhancements. Silversea’s trademark level of luxury will enrich the onboard experience for guests, with spacious all-suite accommodations, the personalised service of butlers, and eight inviting restaurants. The 596-guest ship will be one of four Silversea ships to cruise in the Mediterranean between April and December 2021.
Departing between October 2021 and April 2022, these voyages will call at 222 destinations in 67 countries, including eight maiden calls, with a focus on immersive new experiences. While travellers will gain fresh perspectives of iconic destinations—such as Wellington, Milford Sound, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Auckland—they will also delve deep into the lesser-travelled jewels of Tasmania, Melanesia and Indonesia’s Java Sea, including calls in Fiji, New Caledonia, and Vanuatu, among others.
Guests will enjoy immersive discovery of Japan on four round-trip voyages from Tokyo, as well as alluring options in Southeast Asia, with a focus on captivating Vietnam, and unique experiences in Komodo, Makassar, and Bali, among others.
Departing from both Fort Lauderdale and Bridgetown, the Silver Spirit and the Silver Whisper will journey through the Caribbean, unlocking the region’s authentic charm for guests in both small and iconic destinations. In the Eastern Caribbean, guests will discover the islands of St. Barts, Grenada, and St. Lucia, among others; while Mérida in Yucatán, Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras await in the Western Caribbean; and Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao will fascinate travellers in the south.
A maiden call in Manama, the capital city of Bahrain, will highlight a new itinerary in the Persian Gulf aboard the Silver Moon; while calls in Muscat, Luxor, Petra, the Suez Canal, Israel, and Rhodes will showcase the best of the Middle East on another remarkable itinerary. In addition, the Silver Moon will also take guests to Phuket, as well as the temples of Yangon on a three-day call, Colombo, Cochin, New Mangalore, and Mumbai in February 2022.
Sailing round-trip from Fort Lauderdale, this Grand Voyage will take guests deep into the gems of South America, with multiple calls in Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. A highlight of the voyage, guests will travel down the Amazon River to Manaus on the trip of a lifetime.
Journeying from 65°S to 65°N, the Silver Whisper will visit 69 destinations across 32 countries, departing 6 January 2022.
